Train is typically the most convenient way to travel between Toijala and Helsinki or Toijala and Tampere ( Info & VR Journey Search ).
From Helsinki, trains leave more or less every hour and the trip take less than 1.5 hours.
From Tampere, trains leave approximately every hour and take less than 30 minutes.
From either departure point, train tickets can be purchased at the railway stations (recommended) and in trains. Please show your ticket when you see a conductor. Most common credit cards are accepted and a seat ticket is mandatory.
From the train station:
Taxis are usually available outside the station and a taxi to NRC Toijala at Sampolantie 5 is the easiest way.

After your train ride, you may want to walk, the total walking distance is less than 1 km. The directions are quite easy: When you exit the station, go down the stairs and turn left. When you come to the road, turn right to Hämeentie. When you see the bridge, cross the road, but don't walk over the bridge. After roughly 50meters, there is a bakery on your left. Go past the bakery and turn left after the quick hedge. Go forward and you will see a red building with a NOKIA sign on your left.
