Developed by Nokia Research Center, Beijing, Nokia Video Cuts is a new experimental application which replaces your current video gallery and provide a key missing feature to make your viewing experience more convenient.
Nokia Video Cuts uses key frame extraction technology to separate a video’s key scenes, allowing you to jump from one scene to another with one simple click. The Nokia Video Cuts video gallery organizes your videos by title and also uses thumbnail images for easy searching. Full kinetic scrolling is smooth and snappy, and just like other video galleries, Nokia Video Cuts offers all the same functionality you would expect, like volume adjustment and full screen viewing.
Nokia Video Cuts is an experimental beta currently under evaluation. For more information and to download the application, check out the Nokia Beta Labs project page here.
