With my 20+ years at Nokia Research Center the overwhelming success of mobile telephony has become part of my career history, too. First generation mobile phones I only enjoyed as a user, second generation systems as protocol SW team leader and third generation as system research and specification team leader. I enjoy applying the latest systems architecting and engineering technologies into such fascinating items as the mobile devices are today and tomorrow.
