May, 2009 Award Jury member in the poster competition of ‘Highlighting sensor research across the University of Cambridge’ arranged by CamBridgeSens. 2008~present Member of CamBridgeSens Society, Cambridge University Entrepreneur (CUE) and Cambridge Networks. 2006~present Member of Materials Research Society (MRS). 2005~present Member of International Society of Electrochemistry (ISE).

Research Interests

I have authored peer-reviewed publications and chapters for two books on the topic of nanotechnology and electrochemical applications. My research interests include nanotechnology, electrochemical sensors, organic electronics, electrochemical nanofabrication and energy harvesting devices such as photovoltaics, fuel cells and batteries.

Other Information

Di Wei received the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees (both with distinctions) from the Process Chemistry Centre of Finland, Abo Akademi University in 2004 and 2007 respectively. He has visited Leibniz Institute of Solid State Physics, Dresden, Germany, and the FMF (Materials Research Centre), Albert-Ludwigs Universität Freiburg with the aid of DAAD (German Academic Exchange) during Ph.D. studies. In 2007, he joined the University of Cambridge as the postdoctoral research fellow. Since February 2008, he has been a research scientist in NOKIA Research Centre at Cambridge.
