I joined Nokia Research Center Beijing in year 2000, just after getting my B.Sc and M.Sc from Tsinghua University. I got my Ph.D. degree from Helsinki University of Technology in 2007, major in Computational Engineering.
 

Research Interests

My research interests include:

  • Image Processing and Analysis, Computer Vision, Pattern Analysis
  • Affective Computing, Human-Computer Interaction, Graphical Animation and UI Design
  • Mobile Social Networking, Social Networking Analysis and Service, Opportunistic Networking
 

Research Projects

After joining NRC, I took part in several research projects in the field of image processing, computer vision, and pattern recognition. My delightful experience of two NRC achievement awards comes from the contribution to camera OCR related research and technology transfer. From 2008, I was responsible to ramp up a new research team, Mobile Social Networking, in the Rich Context Modeling focus area.
