Background

I received my M.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering, in 1992, and the L.Sc. in Electrical and Communications Engineering in 2005, from Helsinki University of Technology (TKK), Finland.

Since 1989 I have been working in Nokia Research Center in various topics of Access Networks, from wireline to wireless local connectivity, i.e. in several projects dealing with optical, ATM and MAC bridging technologies, as well as IP over Fiber and Ethernet technologies. Recently I have been working with UWB technology.

I am now focusing on system and MAC research issues of wireless local connectivity.
