I am currently a senior research engineer at the Media Systems and Transport (MST) team of Nokia Research Center (NRC). I joined Nokia on September 2004 and I have since then worked on several research tasks related to multimedia delivery.
I am currently a Nokia delegate to DVB and 3GPP, mainly working towards defining streaming and broadcast technologies for different wireless access technologies. I also lead a research project that deals with technology development in the field of media delivery.
I am also a lecturer at the Technical University of Tampere (TUT), where I am giving a course on video compression.
