Human Practices and Design
Contact
I have been with Nokia since 1999 when I joined Nokia Reseach to validate current technology visions and concepts from social scientific perspective. Since that, I've been working on many user research and concept design oriented activities, thematically ranging from Mobile Presence to far out exploratory user research on activism.
Today, I'm leading Human Practices and Design Team, which applies Human-Centered Design principles in all activites. We have a multidisciplinary team including social and human scientists, interaction and industrial designers, game researchers and software engineers. Social scientific research we carry out in a number of locations around the world, aim to inspire our designers to innovate new product, application and service concepts. I like to think that instead of predicting the future we need to invent and design it.
