Kimmo Kalliola

Background

I received my PhD from Radio Laboratory of Helsinki University of Technology in 2002. My thesis topic was directional radio propagation measurements and analysis. I joined Nokia Research Center in 1999 as research engineer and since 2007 I've been leading the Local Positioning team of NRC Wireless Systems and Services Laboratory. During my time with NRC I've worked on several projects focusing on smart antennas, radio propagation modeling, flexible spectrum use, and most recently radio positioning technologies.
