In February 2001 I came to the Nokia Research Center (NRC) Helsinki to write my bachelor thesis for my studies in telecommunication electronics at the University of Applied Science in Frankfurt, Germany. In 2002 I came back to NRC Helsinki to write my master thesis in the filed of microelectronics for my studies at the Technical University of Darmstadt, Germany. After the completion of this thesis I joined NRC as a research engineer in the Microsystems group.
I worked in several different projects all regarding sensors and their applications, e.g. temperature measurements with mobile devices, health and wellness monitoring, image stabilization and indoor positioning.
At the Helsinki University of Technology I am accepted as a phD student.
My current research interests are in the field of indoor positioning using wireless radio information (WLAN, Bluetooth) and sensor data.
