Background
I am a researcher in NRC in Helsinki working on security technologies. During March 2006 to December 2007, I also served as a part-time professor at the Helsinki University of Technology (now part of Aalto University). I joined Nokia in 1999. Prior to joining Nokia, I was with the security group at IBM Zurich Research Laboratory. I am an alumnus of Indian Institute of Technology (Kharagpur), Syracuse University, and the University of Waterloo.

Research Interests
My research focus is on security technologies. I am interested in all aspects of security, especially in networked and distributed systems. In my dissertation research, I designed protocols for fair exchange. At Nokia, I have been working on various security-related topics including cryptographic protocols, usable security, and secure platforms.
