Päivi Ruuska
Senior ResearcherRadio Systems, Finland
Hi,
I joined Nokia Research Center in 2002, where I am currently working as a Senior Researcher in the area of Cognitive Communication. My background is in wireless local connectivity systems and protocols. I have actively contributed in Bluetooth and in IEEE 802 standardization. I have also been involved in defining standard solution for low power health and fitness sensors in Continua Health Alliance. Currently my research interests involve cognitive radio systems, white space use for unlicensed operation, and coexistence solutions, and I am Nokia delegate in ETSI RRS and 802.19. I have received M.Sc. in electrical engineering from Tampere University of Technology, Finland, in 2004.
Cheers, Päivi
