Background

Radek Grzeszczuk is a Research Team Leader heading the Spatial Technologies group at Nokia Research Center in Palo Alto. He joined NRC Palo Alto in 2006 as a Principal Researcher. His research focuses on mobile augmented reality, visual search and large-scale urban 3D modeling. Prior to joining Nokia Corp, he was a Senior Researcher in the Architecture Research Lab at Intel Corp. where he worked on analysis and visualization of large image data sets. He also worked on parallel algorithms and performance analysis of applications in image processing, physical simulation, optimization, and machine learning. He received his MS (1994) and PhD (1998) degrees from University of Toronto.
