Background
Before joining NRC, I had solid experience as an Industrial Designer and design project manager in both consultancy and corporate settings. I have an MA in Industrial Design from University of Art and Design, Helsinki (TaiK).
My earlier work at NRC has involved user research, concept creation and concept validation around topics like: mobile video and digital photos, Near-to-Eye Displays, services for SMEs in India and China, and mobile social interaction services and applications.

Current Work
I have been working in the fields of social web services and consumer photography for the whole time I have been working for NRC. These continue to be key interest areas for me, with Mixed Reality thrown into the mix.

Since 2006 I have been leveraging my full time work at NRC also by studying for PhD at Tampere University of Technology (TUT).
