Background

I joined NRC at 2004. Before that I had gained strong experience as an Industrial Designer and design project manager in both consultancy and corporate settings. I have an MA in Industrial Design from University of Art and Design, Helsinki (TaiK).

My earlier work at NRC has involved user research, concept creation and concept validation around topics like: mobile video and digital photos, Near-to-Eye Displays, services for SMEs in India and China, and mobile social interaction services and applications.

Current Work

Currently I'm leading a two-year project ToGo, in which we have created social service called Nokia Image Space. Via it users can experience places and their content contextualized by content created by them and a community of users.

Other

Since 2006 I have been leveraging my full time work at NRC also by studying for PhD at Tampere University of Technology (TUT).
