I have been working in the Nokia Research Center since 2003 primarily in the area of IP multimedia and group communication. I have been involved in developing video conferencing (point-to-point and multipoint) application on S60 and Linux platform.
Currently i am working in a project called "Virtual Office" where the aim is to develop web based, real time, rich media communication and interaction tools. One of the primary goals of the projects is to understand the dynamics of virtual organization and how business process can be mobilized. The mantra is "Your office anywhere everywhere"
I have primiarly been working in area of communication. Before Joining NRC, i had worked with two start up companies which were developing next generation (VoIP) telecommunication equipment for wireline industry. In NRC, i have been working in the area of multimedia transport and signaling. Currently i am looking in the area of virtual organization, work force collaboration and how to mobilize business process.
