My name is Usman Rahim, originally come from Pakistan. I did my bachelors between 1999 to 2003 with Computers as the major area of study.

I joined the Tampereen Teknikelin Yliopisto, Finland in 2004 as a Masters degree student and graduated with "Distinction" in 2007. Now continuing Phd studies in the field of digital communications. My master's degree thesis was in the field of digital transmission related to OFDM - Orthognal Frequency Division Multiplexing.

I am currently working in Nokia Research Centre, for Wireless systems labortary in Finland.

My major area of study in Masters was Digital Transmission and minors in Signal Processing, and am really interested in specially Non-linear signal processing reason being its more challenging and dynamic. I have a quite strong background in Radio communication systems and Radio Network planning. These are also my areas of interest, and I will someday like to work in these areas aswell.

You never know about future because i believe " Past has gone so forget it, Future has to come dont worry about it but Today is everything. " I have such a thinking but i still keep some plans for future but yet to do huge formulations in these plans to make them executeable.
