I joined Nokia Research Center Beijing as a Senior Researcher in September 2009. I have been involved in the development of a high performance real-time platform to enable efficient and scalable processing of rich context information from smart devices for mobile applications or services.

Before joining NRC Beijing, I worked as a postdoctoral research fellow in Network Systems and Services Lab (NSS), School of Computing, National University of Singapore in 2007-2009, responsible for developing the data management layer in a research prototype of context-aware middleware infrastructure for sentient computing.

I received my PhD degree from Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) in May 2007. I received my Bachelor's degree at the School of Computer Science and Engineering, South China University of Technology (SCUT), China in July 2002.

Research Interests

Data management, query processing, system technologies, sensor networks, pervasive computing, context-aware middleware, web proxy caching, peer-to-peer networks.
