Yingen Xiong

Background

I joined NRC in November 2006 in Palo Alto of USA. In previous, I was a research scientist in the Center for Human Computer Interaction at Virginia Tech from 2004 to 2006. Before that I was an assistant research professor at Wright State University from 2001 to 2004. Before I came to the United States of America, I was an associate professor in China.

I received my PhD, MS, and BS in China in 1995, 1988, and 1983 respectively.

Research Interests

My research areas include Computer Vision, Image and Signal Processing, Video Tracking, Video Surveillance, Pattern Classification, Machine Learning, Human Computer Interection, Mobile Augmented Reality, Computational Photography.
