Background
Joined Nokia Research Center (Tampere) in 2003 and worked in the area of Java technologies, especially in Java UI and standardization work. Previously my research focused on declarative UI technologies like XML UI languages. At present, I am working in the area of mobile collaboration and smart space technologies. Other research areas are HCI, Groupware and Computer Supported Cooperative Work (CSCW), particularly I am interested in the subject of situational awareness, and technological issues related to augmented virtual reality (VR).

Projects
Since 2003 (till 2006), I've worked in Software Lab in the area of mobile runtime technologies, particularly in Java UI technologies for mobile phone. I have been involved in open-source projects like eRCP as one of project committers in Eclipse.
Staring from 2007, I joined the Communities and Collaboration Team in Interaction CTC. My current project studies enhanced and rich experience in virtual and real office environments; studies new technologies to manage communication and collaborative activities.
