Background
Joined Nokia Research Center (Tampere) in 2003 and started in the area of mobile runtime technologies, especially in J2ME Java UI and API standardization work. After that, joined the team of collaboration and communication in the Mart Space Lab and engaged very muich in various mobile collaboration technologies. At present, I am working in the team of mixed reality solutions for augumenting reality with social and playful experiences. Other research interests are HCI, Groupware and Computer Supported Cooperative Work (CSCW), Social SW and Virtual Worlds (especially 3D/AR/VR-based).
Main research areas are HCI, Groupware and Computer Support Cooperative Work (CSCW).
Research Projects
From
2009 to present,working in the team of Mixed Reality Solutions. Current project
researches and develops scalable server infrastructure and mash-up
RESTful APIs.
From 2007 to 2008, I joined the Communities and Collaboration Team
in Interaction CTC. My current project studies enhanced and rich
experience in virtual and real office environments; studies new
technologies to manage communication and collaborative activities.
From 2003 to 2006, I've worked in Software Lab in the area of mobile runtime technologies, particularly in Java UI technologies for mobile phone. I have been involved in open-source projects like eRCP as one of project committers in Eclipse.
