Sample Prototype of Mobile Workflow Processes

Viral Advertising

Viral Advertisement process enables and delivers wireless advertisement by the Advertisers to mobile phone users or end Customers. The Customers viewing the Ad can request for the Coupons in their phone and decide to use it to receive an offer or discounted prices of a product from the Retailers. The Customers can also engage into activities such as sharing the coupon. When the Customer decides to utilise the value offered by the Coupon he/she exchanged the coupon to the relevant Point-Of-Sale system of the Retailer.

The Advertiser is mainly responsible for creating the Advertisements, delivering the same ads to the customers and issuing the coupons to the Mobile customers. The Customers can mainly distribute the Ad further to their social and mobile personal networks or then utilise the coupons to get their benefits from the POS. The POS sale interacts with the Advertiser to register itself and as well as verify the coupons presented to it by the Customers. The assumption is that all the three players interaction are handled directly from the Mobile computing platforms.

Ofcourse technically and architecturally the interactions can happen also using other interfaces and devices like personal computers or over Web clients. In order to demonstrate the device centric solution we will focus on purely mobile centric deployment of such a service.
