Nokia unleashes the creativity of masses by offering a winning co-creation ecosystem for professionals and the long tail. This reseach team develops an open co-creation platform and spearhead social media services with deep personalization and machine intelligence. It focuses on personalized music experiences, mobile multimedia co-creation (especially mobile journalism) as well as enabling associated mobile financial transaction and rewarding mechanisms.

Mobile journalism creates a new service offering for Nokia in the broad scope of news and multimedia content production and participatory publishing to a space that interfaces traditional media houses and the long tail. The user benefits of mobile journalist consist on the fact that publishing becomes participatory and co-creational with on-line with strong mobile end-user involvement. The benefits for media companies is based on a broader, faster and more accurate content delivery from the field. Pro-journalists and contributors benefit from mobile workflow and co-creation-oriented tools.
EventBroker service recommends events to individual users and groups of users. Recommendations are personalized via incremental user profiling. Both user-created events (like home parties, get-together picnics etc.) and third-party created events (like soccer games, concerts, movies etc.) are covered by the service. The user will benefit because he will never miss an interesting event nearby, or an event organized by friends.
SuperMusic is a new all-personalized, all-streaming mobile music service. It primarily works as a fully automatic personal music player, playing music just like the user wanted to hear in that situation. Also, the player features social features for communicating with friends and for sharing online music experiences with friends. For the user there are some benefits because they expect the next level of intuitive and simple music experiences. The music player is always ready to play music with one click, and the music is just what users wanted to hear. When a user discovers new exciting tracks, he can directly share them with friends, and of course, spur a debate.
CyberBank offers flexible and secure payments for Nokia services. Security is based on digital signatures and encryption by using a trusted platform and the On-board-Credentials concept. The user will benefit of seamless payments within and across Nokia services. There are also loyalty benefits from Nokia and Ovi-wide synthetic currency.
