Voice and Language Based UI

This teams concentrates on high quality embedded speech recognition and synthesis technology to be used in the current and future Nokia products. In addition, the team innovates new ideas for using recognition within mobile UI and for integrating recognition into other text input modalities in mobile terminals.

At Nokia Reseach Center in Tampere, this team developed originally the voice recognition technology available in tens of millions of Nokia phones today. The current work concentrates on increasing the ambition level of these voice recognition systems.
