Nokia Sports Tracker - user of the month, October 2007

Here's October's ultimate coolest track recorded with Nokia Sports Tracker (actually one of the nicest we've seen for a long time).
Actually it's not the track alone, but the combination of the tracking data (recorded using Nokia N95) and especially the winged platform that was used for recording it. Wow!

"Nokia Sports Tracker User of the month, October 2007", Bernd from Hannover/Germany, has been been up to.

My birthday present this year from my wife was surprising me so much. A round-flight by the classic Oltimer JU-52, built in 1936.
Start was from Hannover Airport "Langenhagen" (Germany) according to normal Lufthansa flight procedures.
3 Crew members and 16 passengers and 45 minutes of fun, taking this flight by max speed 200 km/h.

Time was enough to take pictures and think about starting Sports Tracker on my Nokia N95.
I really didn't believe on receiving GPS Satellite signals inside the plane, but it was worth the try.
The first minutes I watched my N95: what happens, and after good tracking start I forgot the phone and I was enjoying the flight and also shooting some pictures.

After all at home again, I loaded the Sports Tracker flight sample to Google Earth and showed it to my wife. Now we can enjoy my birthday present together.
