Product Oriented Mobile Web Server
Installation
- Download the MWS software and sign up for a domain name for your mobile here.
- Download and install CBP_1.6.SIS.
- Ensure that you have started your mobile web server.
- Browse to http://your-domain.mymobilesite.net/cbp and follow the instructions.
Developer Oriented Mobile Web Server, aka, Raccoon
Phone Installation
- Make sure you have a S60 2nd Edition phone (e.g. 6630, 6680, N70, N72, N90) or a 3rd Edition phone (e.g. N73, N80, ...) that supports Raccoon. You can determine the S60 version of your phone from this page.
- Install Python for S60 and Raccoon to your mobile phone. The easiest way to do that is to install a bundled SIS file containing both as instructed in the Mobile Web Server wiki. Please, note that the bundled SIS file needs to be installed to the Phone memory on 3rd Edition devices! Also, remember to sign up and set up the Raccoon in addition to installing the sis file, as instucted on the wiki.
- Download and install PluginSetup_1.5.SIS for 2nd Edition and PluginSetup3rdEd_1.5.SIS for 3rd Edition devices. Please, note that you have to install the PluginSetup application to the Phone memory on 3rd Edition devices.
- Run PluginSetup on your phone. The application will prompt you to create a username and a password. You have to provide these to the browser plugin later, so memorize them. You can, but don't have to, use the same username and password as in the Raccoon. Note that the information is sent as plain text over the Internet.

The setup application can be run multiple times to, e.g. create a new username and password (note that the old ones are not deleted). On subsequent runs you can also cancel the username query, in this case new username is not created but the Contacts Browser Plugin setup is otherwise verified to be correct.

- Make sure you have Firefox 1.5 (check from Help - About Mozilla Firefox). If not, install it from http://www.mozilla.com/firefox.
- Install GreaseMonkey plugin, version 0.6.4 or newer, from http://greasemonkey.mozdev.org. If your browser blocks pop-ups, you might need to allow the pop-up for the installation page.

- Open contactsbrowserplugin.user.js with Firefox (you can just click it), and select Tools - Install This User Script, or click the install button on the top right corner of the page.
- Locate a phone number on any web page and click it. You can just refresh this page and click here: 020-1234567.
- Fill in the Contacts Browser Plugin username and password and the Mobile Web Server address (such as http://username.at.openlaboratory.net). The username and password must match to the ones you provided to the settings application on the mobile phone.
